Current Project

Our chapter is now working with a second community in Guatemala to help them also design and build a new school. The Vista Hermosa Las Flores area is home to approximately 74 Maya families. Their children currently are taught in an open-walled shelter that serves as a school, ​shown below. We are continuing to monitor and assist Las Victorias with maintenance of their school and kitchen while helping another deserving community realize their vision for a better future.

Past Projects

Las Victorias, Guatemala: families of this mountainous village partnered with our chapter to build a new primary school to lift their children and future generations out of poverty. Also shown above and on our Projects page.

​San Pedro Puxtla, El Salvador: this main street connects families to school, shopping, and healthcare. Formerly a steep and rocky gulley, residents now have a durable thoroughfare with adequate drainage for the wet season. See our Projects page for more information.
